What Is Ovarian Cancer?

Ovarian cancer is cancer that affects the ovaries, parts of the female reproductive system. There are two ovaries, one on each side of the uterus which produces eggs as well as the female hormones estrogen and progesterone.
Ovarian cancer is also called a ‘Silent Killer’ as women experience fewer symptoms in the early stages of the disease.
